Vertiv Unveils New Office and Customer Experience Center in SM Mega Tower, Philippines

Vertiv has officially inaugurated its new Manila offices today, marking a significant step in its rapid expansion and ongoing investment in the country. The new Manila site, which boasts state-of-the-art amenities and a “glocal” atmosphere, will accommodate over 1,200 members of the company’s local workforce, bolstering Vertiv’s local, regional, and global operations.

Situated in the SM Mega Tower building in Mandaluyong City’s bustling business district, the Vertiv offices cover more than 8,000 square feet across four floors. The offices are equipped with modern amenities, including adaptable workspaces, focus areas, wellness rooms, and an open office design to foster productivity and teamwork among employees.

David Yao, general manager of Vertiv’s Global Regional Operations Center (GROC), said, “We envisioned the Vertiv Manila offices as open and vibrant spaces to stimulate our employees and promote energy and creativity at work. We recognize that commuting and time spent on computers and in meetings can be demanding for our staff. We hope that the amenities we’ve incorporated into our office design will provide our employees with a boost and a generally positive environment where they can develop both professionally and personally.”

Yao added, “We understand that some may find returning to the office challenging, and our open office concept, lounge spaces, and focus rooms will offer our employees benefits not typically found in standard offices or even at home.”

Post-pandemic, Vertiv has made a substantial investment in expanding its presence in the Philippines. The company’s workforce has rapidly grown from over 700 to more than 1,200 employees in recent years.

Yao further added, “The decision to expand this team reflects the strong skill set of the Filipino workforce. At Vertiv Manila, we take pride in being ‘glocal’. We not only serve Philippine customers through Vertiv Philippines, but we also collaborate with key stakeholders and customers across Asia Pacific, North America, and Europe.”

Vertiv also officially opened its modern Customer Experience Center (CEC) and the Vertiv Academy, both located within the SM Mega Tower. These expansive facilities provide Vertiv’s Philippine customers with the opportunity to interact with Vertiv products and technologies, guided by local technical experts.
