Traveling, whether for leisure across the Philippines or for overseas business deals, can be a challenging task. The stress of packing and document preparation can be overwhelming, not to mention the added pressure of reaching the airport on time.
To address this issue, Grab, the trusted partner for safe, convenient, and reliable mobility in the Philippines, introduces its latest service - Advance Booking. This service ensures timely rides to the airport via the GrabAirport fleet, providing travelers with one less thing to worry about.
EJ Dela Vega, Grab Philippines Head of Mobility, says, “With over a decade of service in the Philippines, we at Grab have gained a deep understanding of our Filipino passengers’ unique needs. A standout need is reliable airport transportation. To cater to this, we are enhancing the airport ride experience on Grab with the introduction of Advance Booking. Our new Grab Advance Booking service offers more than just airport transfers – it provides travelers the peace of mind they deserve. This service guarantees on-time rides every time, allowing every Filipino traveler to leave their homes knowing they’ll reach their flight on time.”
Grab Advance Booking: Timely Rides, Every Time With Grab Advance Booking, concerns about catching a flight early in the morning or during peak hours are now a thing of the past. This new service promises reliable rides every time.
- Plan Ahead: Grab’s Advance Booking feature allows passengers to plan their journeys well in advance. Bookings can be made as early as seven days or as late as two hours before the scheduled ride.
- On-Time Pick-up Assurance: Grab Advance Booking guarantees on-time pick-ups. In case of service disruption, the Grab platform quickly reassigns the ride to another driver-partner, ensuring the passenger’s trip is completed. If the driver arrives late for a pre-scheduled ride, passengers will receive a Php-100 courtesy credit.
- Extended Wait Time: To enhance passenger convenience, a 15-minute grace period is provided for Advance Booking rides. This allows drivers to accommodate minor delays and gives passengers extra time to reach the pick-up location in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Easy Booking Process Accessing Grab Advance Booking is simple. Passengers can select “Advance Booking” under the Grab transport page, enter the date and time of their ride, and specify their pick-up location and airport terminal for drop-off.
Passengers will receive regular updates and reminders about their ride status leading up to the scheduled pick-up time. They can also chat and check in with their assigned driver in-app 45 minutes prior to the scheduled trip.
For safety and convenience, Advance Booking rides can accommodate a maximum of three passengers with three pieces of luggage.
Protecting Our Driver-Partners Grab has implemented measures to protect the income of the dedicated Advance Booking fleet. These measures aim to lessen the impact of last-minute cancellations by passengers, specifically those made less than an hour before the scheduled pick-up time. In such cases, the passenger will be charged the full fare of the ride. The same policy applies when a passenger is unreachable or hasn’t arrived 15 minutes past the scheduled time.
However, there will be no charge for any passenger cancellation done at least one hour before the scheduled pick-up time.
A Hassle-Free Airport Transfer Grab Advance Booking simplifies the airport transfer experience for both leisure and business travelers, allowing them to relax as they start their journey. This service is currently exclusive to trips going to Metro Manila airports via its GrabAirport fleet, launched last year in partnership with the MIAA. Expansion to cities and regions outside of the National Capital Region is expected in the second half of 2024.
