A recent consumer and market insights study by Samsung Electronics surveyed over 2,600 consumers in Southeast Asia and found that Filipinos are highly motivated to purchase smartphones and digital home appliances with AI features. Filipinos on AI Usage
Filipino consumers generally have a positive outlook on AI, appreciating its potential to boost efficiency and drive innovation. The study found that 44% of Filipinos use AI for writing, 42% for language translation, and 39% for problem-solving, significantly higher than other Southeast Asian countries.
AI is also widely used for creativity and entertainment, with 48% using it for photo editing and 42% for generating new ideas. The focus on quickly finding information is another priority, with 41% of respondents utilizing AI tools for this purpose. Galaxy S25

AI-powered features in smartphones are a major selling point for Filipinos. Many are drawn to tools that enhance productivity and creativity, including:

- Summarizing articles and content
